Biography
Originating in Portland, Maine, the emo rock throwback Pinsky came together in 2007. Peter Vachon, Jeff Roberts, Andre Tranchemontagne, and Mike Graton make up the quartet, which channels the driving emo sound established by bands like Braid and Texas Is the Reason in the mid-'90s through a fusion of guitar-driven post-hardcore with earnest, personal vocals. Attention for Pinsky grew in 2008 thanks to the Two for the Road EP, which preceded the 2011 release of their full-length debut, Losing Touch.
