Biography
Emerging from Santiago de Chile in 1989, the power metal outfit Pirosaint formed amid a compact yet vigorous and passionate local heavy metal community. Two demos appeared in 1992 and 1994 before the band delivered its EP New God in 1997, after which the ambitious instrumental project Backgrounds surfaced in 1999. Marking the first active decade, the group then issued the compilation Ten Years From the Emptiness in 2000.
