Pisetzky, the Italian producer, crafts a compelling fusion of techno and house defined by its hypnotic force and prominent melodic synth patterns, a signature already evident on his first album, Tears of a Rough Machine, issued in 2017. Born Fabiano Valli in Milan, he initially worked as a sound designer within the fashion sector before shifting to music in 2014, an endeavor that involved extensive research through countless hours of bassline study. His first outing arrived in 2015 with the Off the Map EP on Just This, the imprint he established alongside the Milanese duo Hunter/Game. Releases followed an unhurried pace thereafter: the Elevation EP appeared the next year, while Tears of a Rough Machine surfaced in 2017. That album highlighted his deep affinity for synthesizers, favoring atmospheric melodic lines over high-impact club rhythms. Subsequent licensing placed tracks on compilations from Balance and Fabric. By contrast, the 2018 single “Conquer” on Suara and 2019’s “Terminal End,” again on Just This, adopted a more robust, floor-oriented approach while preserving his characteristic synth textures.
