Biography
Fronting the Los Angeles-based punk quartet Piss Ant is actress/model turned frontwoman Josi Kat, with bassist Amy Brandt, guitarist Dave Foster, and drummer Jeff Duarte completing the lineup. The band revives the sleaze rock approach of 1970s and 1980s acts including the Dead Boys, Plasmatics, and G.G. Allin. Piss Ant released its debut album Piss Off in 2001 and followed it with the high-energy set Your Best Sucks in 2004. That intense style of punk sustained the group into the 2010s on Speak Up and 7 Deadly Sins.
