Biography
Cousins Javier Valle Vega and Edwin Vázquez Vega launched the Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Plan B under the respective aliases Chencho and Maldy. Initially operating as the Panic, the pair issued singles beginning in 1998. Their first full-length studio album, El Mundo del Plan B: Los Que La Montan, surfaced in 2002 and was succeeded by several mixtapes before the next proper release, House of Pleasure, arrived in 2010. The 2013 singles “Zapatito Roto,” which featured Tego Calderón, and “Candy” both registered strong showings on the U.S. Latin chart, setting the stage for Love & Sex in 2014 to become the duo’s highest-charting album. Plan B disbanded the following year.
