Biography
Emerging from the Toronto region in 1996, this ensemble of seven musicians has built expanding reach, crowds, and commercial returns by merging an array of musical styles. Once the group issued its first album without label support, the musicians undertook domestic and overseas tours as openers for Maceo Parker, Charlie Hunter, and acts such as the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Festival stages dedicated to jazz have likewise hosted their performances. The second album, Digitally Organic, sustains the same route through multiple influences and genres, resulting in an intricate fusion.
