Hailing from Baltimore, the ensemble managed a solitary Top 20 R&B hit in 1977 yet proved unable to match that mark across subsequent sessions for Columbia and ARC that continued into 1979. Al McKinney served as lead vocalist, joined in the lineup by Larry Jacobs, Gary Grainger, Charles C. Williams, Kevin Barnes, George Gray, Irving Madison, and Jacob R. Sheffer.
