Biography
Polish Club, the Australian duo, produce an intense and perspiration-soaked strain of rock shaped by soul and punk. Their entrance earned praise through the ARIA Award-nominated Alright Already in 2017.
Formed in Sydney during 2014, the pair consists of singer/guitarist David Novak and drummer John-Henry Pajak. Their first album, Alright Already, appeared in 2017, climbed to number 19 on the Australian album chart, and attracted favorable nods to the White Stripes, Kings of Leon, and the Black Keys while earning an ARIA Award nomination for Best Rock Album. The duo followed with the sophomore album Iguana in 2019, which reached number 20 in Australia, and issued the stand-alone single "Just Talking" in 2020.
