Biography
Possum Dixon originated when friends turned to music as a way to ease pressures from their jobs. Interscope offered the group a deal after hearing them during club shows across Los Angeles, which quickly lifted the band to national attention. Their self-titled debut, carrying a neo-new wave pop sound, surfaced in early 1993. Rob Zabrecky handled vocals and bass, Robert O'Sullivan played electric piano, Celso Chavez covered guitar, and Richard Treuel sat at the drums. New Sheets arrived in 1998 as the band's third full-length album.
