Prentiss Furr first surfaced in 2020 as a 14-year-old creator blending melodic rap, pop, and trap into an easygoing sound built on youthful lyricism and memorable hooks. The next year he issued his debut EP.

Raised in Jackson, Mississippi, he had focused on video editing and illustration until he uncovered an aptitude for music production. Beginning in 2020 he began posting tracks online, opening with the breezy single “Rock with It.” Shortly afterward “Chocolate” and “October” spread rapidly online, drawing notice from Justin Bieber, Skrillex, Meghan Trainor, and blink-182’s Mark Hoppus. Following the 2021 signing with Cinematic Music Group, Prentiss delivered further streaming successes such as “I’ll Do It Again,” “Thrill of It,” and “Hazel Eyes.”
