Biography
During the 1970s and 1980s, "Professor" Eddie Lusk regularly supplied keyboard work for recording sessions across Chicago's blues circuit. Multiple singers gained exposure through the revue he assembled, among them Gloria Hardiman, whose performance of "Meet Me With Your Black Drawers On" appeared on Alligator's 1987 anthology The New Bluebloods, and Karen Carroll, who handled lead vocals throughout the band's 1989 Delmark album Professor Strut. In a tragic turn, Lusk ended his life by plunging into the Chicago River.
