Biography
Chris Carney fronts the raucous alternative rock quartet the Prom Kings alongside guitarist Joey Hollearn, bassist Mauricio Brandao, and Luke Pickerill. Formed in 2001, the Los Angeles group has since shared bills with Papa Roach, Sum 41, Unwritten Law, and 3 Doors Down. Their infectious funk-pop approach quickly attracted the regional imprint Three Kings, leading the band to begin work on a debut album. The first single, "Alone," appeared in spring 2005, followed by the full studio release later that summer.
