Biography
Emerging from Three 6 Mafia as an offshoot project, Prophet Posse draws in several artists from the Memphis, TN collective—Gangsta Boo, Indo G, and Koopsta Knicca—while also enlisting numerous peers from Southern and Midwest scenes. Juicy "J" and DJ Paul serve as the central masterminds, shaping the collective both through their direct musical input and by lending the name of their Prophet label to the group. Body Parts, the ensemble’s 1998 debut album, spotlighted graphic violence and incorporated guest work from the Dayton Family.
