Biography
Hailing from Long Beach, California, the party-centric rap trio Pseudo Rebels directs its hip-hop vision toward the 1980s under the self-styled banner “Sweater Rap.” MCs B-Nyce and DP3 form the core, supported by DJ Too Billion, so the group’s sound merges old school rap with synth driven electro. Their debut EP Shut Up and Party! appeared in 2009; subsequent remixes of songs by Kid Cudi and Black Eyes Peas broadened their reach, leading to an announcement that a follow-up to the EP is in progress.
