Biography
Pyaemia formed in Rotterdam, Holland, initially as a five-piece before stabilizing around a core quartet of Joel handling both vocals and guitar, Frank on bass, Robbert behind the kit, and Anton also on guitar. Specializing in old-school grindcore-tinged death metal, the group issued the Cranial Blowout EP in 1998, which paved the way for their first full-length album, Cerebral Cereal, arriving in 2001 via Unique Leader Records.
