Biography
Emerging from the streets of South Central Los Angeles, Quincey White approaches his craft with unflinching directness and a perspective that sharpens steadily over time. Previously recording as Dubb, he adopted his given name for the 2017 EP The 7, whose standout track “Los Scandalous Times” signaled a breakthrough in his later work. Devoted to brevity and steady pacing, he has kept to a near-yearly schedule of seven-track EPs that includes 2018’s White Noise, 2019’s Q Blanco, 2021’s The White House, 2022’s 7 Love Languages, and 2023’s No Fairytales. Guest appearances across these projects have featured the Game, Stalley, and Dave East, with the last of those artists joining him on the title track of the 2023 release.
