Radio Radio

Originating from Clare, Nova Scotia, the rap ensemble Radio Radio delivers rhymes in Chiac, which represents a form of Acadian French. Established during 2007, the collective introduced themselves via the six-song EP Télé Télé that same year through the Bonsound imprint. The subsequent May saw the arrival of their debut full-length effort, Cliché Hot, which secured multiple Félix Awards for the outfit; among those recognized tracks stood "Jacuzzi," later cleared for inclusion in the NHL 2K11 video game. The 2010 issuance of Belmundo Regal earned a nomination shortlist spot for the Polaris Music Prize of that year. In 2012 came another hit record, Havre de Grâce, which climbed to the twelfth position on Canada's album ranking.
