Rebaelliun

In the spring of 1998 the Brazilian death metal outfit Rebaelliun assembled when singer and bassist Marcello Marzari joined forces with guitarists F. Penna Correa and Ronaldo Lima plus drummer Sandro M. After laying down the Promo-Tape '98 demo, the musicians parted with most of their possessions to bankroll a lengthy European trek that carried them through Belgium, Holland and Germany; those shows secured a deal with the Dutch imprint Hammerheart in early 1999, prompting the label to repackage the demo as At War. Their first full-length album, Burn the Promise Land, surfaced before the year closed.
