Biography
Hick-hop rockers Redneck Souljers emerged from Winchester, Tennessee, as a duo of MCs Fatt Tarr and C-Hubb who first joined forces in 2009. At the outset they operated as a novelty act that specialized in parodying popular hits through hick-hop remixes, yet by 2013 the pair pursued a more “serious” direction via the Tiller Gang project—even if cuts such as “I Mow, I Till” and “Rednecks in the Club” placed them on the same party-lovin’, mud-diggin’ plane as their cohorts Bubba Sparxxx and the Lacs. Sparxxx appeared on the duo’s 2015 album Firewater, which also included guest MC Outlaw on the title track.
