Emerging from London under a veil of mystery, the duo Rezzett crafts abstract techno and jungle tracks characterized by heavily distorted basslines and layers of tape hiss. What began as an anonymous project later came to light as a joint effort by Lukid and Tapes, who put out multiple EPs prior to the arrival of their 2018 album Rezzett LP, followed by the 2023 release of their sophomore effort Meant Like This.

Their initial self-titled EP came out via Will Bankhead's The Trilogy Tapes imprint in 2013, aligning them with outsider house artists such as Willie Burns, Anthony Naples, and Vereker, yet delivering a sound that was more shadowy, warped, and lo-fi, evoking the sense of early James Ferraro venturing into club-oriented material. Additional Rezzett 12-inch releases followed on The Trilogy Tapes, among them the jungle-tinged "Zootie" and "Doyce," along with their take on Omar Souleyman's "Heli Yuweli." They also lent production to a cut from Zomby's Hyperdub album Ultra in 2016 and put out their own 7-inch single Rupez that year. The Trilogy Tapes issued the first full-length Rezzett LP in 2018. Following an extended hiatus, the duo resurfaced in 2023 with Meant Like This.
