Biography
Rick Brannon, a native of Texas, launched his musical path at Austin’s Musician’s Rehearsal Hall, where he first had the chance to handle one of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s guitars. That encounter convinced him he needed to form his own group, so he relocated to Los Angeles and began taking on local studio and performance work. Among his projects he contributed recordings for the NFL and HBO while also playing on Leon Hendrix’s album Seattle Rain. Brannon describes his sound as “blusion,” a personal blend of rock and blues, and he has issued four albums showcasing that approach.
