Biography
Emerging from the Providence, Rhode Island vicinity in 1999 as guitarist and vocalist, Ricky Valente launched his independent album A Place in My Dreams. Three years afterward he delivered Live at Lupo's, earning broad regional praise. The 2003 studio album Consolation then positioned Valente to expand his mature alt-pop sound to a national audience.
