Biography
Paying homage to both vocalist and bassist Kevin Ridel as well as the educational institution portrayed in the classic musical Grease, the Los Angeles-based alternative pop trio Ridel High counted guitarist Steve Leroy and drummer Steve Coulter among its lineup. Ridel High made its first appearance in 1997 through the indie label release Hi Scores; after signing with A&M in 1998, the band reworked several tracks from that album for re-release as Emotional Rollercoaster.
