Biography
Rishi Kumaar emerged as a Singaporean performer after finishing second runner-up in the 2005 edition of Vasantham Star, the Pop Idol-style contest aimed at the city-state’s Tamil viewers. Born April 30, 1975, in Singapore, he completed his studies at the Asian Academy of Film & Television in Delhi and continues to work as both singer and actor for MediaCorp TV12 Vasantham Central, the station that airs Vasantham Star.
