Biography
Roadcase Royale naturally blend soul with arena rock, an unsurprising pairing given the group's foundation in Heart's Nancy Wilson and Liv Warfield, the latter having previously served as a vocalist in Prince's New Power Generation during the 1990s. The pair launched the band in 2016, Wilson bringing in Heart veterans Dan Rothchild on bass, Chris Joyner on keyboards, and Ben Smith on drums while Warfield recruited Ryan Waters, her former musical director. Roadcase Royale issued the digital single "Get Loud" in January 2017, secured a deal with Loud & Proud Records by July, and delivered their debut full-length album First Things First that September.
