Biography
Born in Illinois, Robert A. Wolf developed an early fascination with electronic sounds, tinkering with discarded radio components as a youngster to generate unusual noises. In 1975 he acquired his initial synthesizer and honed his abilities through performances alongside regional groups as well as studies at institutions in Nashville and Orlando throughout the latter 1970s and initial 1980s. Following several contest victories, he ventured to Los Angeles in pursuit of greater opportunities, performing at clubs in Hollywood alongside various ensembles. Entering the 1990s, Wolf pursued a solo path, composing progressive electronic pieces and providing scores for multiple independent films. His debut release, Sanctuary, achieved success throughout Asia, sustaining his efforts as he developed fresh compositions. After relocating to Indiana, he completed ten additional instrumentals, issuing them under the title Paradox during 1999.
