Robert Klein

Robert Klein has built a reputation as one of the leading stand-up comedians across two decades by embodying a singular persona: a sharp yet unassuming figure navigating relentless social shifts, an approach first showcased on The Ed Sullivan Show. Although his résumé includes multiple cable-TV specials, motion pictures, and Broadway productions, he maintains a steady on-screen presence while issuing recordings only sparingly. In addition to his appearance on the 1966 comedy concept album Our Wedding Album, or the Great Society Affair, Klein has released just a small number of solo comedy discs. The earliest pair originated in the early 1970s and were later reissued by Rhino in 1991, whereas the most recent stands as a fresh release.
