Among Brazil's leading trombonists is Roberto Marques, whose extensive career encompasses recordings and live performances with Tom Jobim, Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento, Roberto Carlos, and Marisa Monte, in addition to countless other musicians. Versatility defines his path, as he has performed across ensembles representing styles from choro through jazz and into pop/rock territory, among them the Titãs.
