Biography
Rocket 350 came together in Atlanta during 1997 as a trio whose accelerated rockabilly sound was driven by Rocket Phil Stair on guitar and vocals, Loverboy Brandon Davis on upright bass, and Twistin' Tony Dinneweth. The group took cues from Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Link Wray, and the Stray Cats when they independently put out their debut album, Monstrous Rockabilly Mayhem, the following year. Performances shared with Dick Dale, Cigar Store Indians, and Hi-Fi and the Roadburners preceded the January 2000 release of their next album, Junglebilly, on Beatville Records.
