Rodrigo Lessa

Rodrigo Lessa stood out as a key figure within Nó em Pingo d'Água, contributing to three albums from the ensemble, one of which was Salvador, honored with the Sharp Prize for Best Instrumental Group. In his capacity as an arranger, he lent his skills to prominent artists including Ney Matogrosso, Guinga, Leila Pinheiro, and Ivan Lins. His work as a sideman involved performances and recordings alongside Chico Buarque, Paulinho da Viola, Sivuca, Rafael Rabelo, and Lula Galvão, while he also joined festival circuits spanning Europe along with North and South America. The year 1998 marked the release of his debut solo CD, Solbambá.
