Biography
Growing up amid Kentucky’s fiddle heritage, Roger Cooper drew inspiration from masters like Buddy Thomas and took up the instrument himself. Beyond the 1996 Rounder album Going Back to Old Kentucky, he has shared stages with the Bing Brothers, the rapid-fire bluegrass combo from West Virginia.
