Romain Brau, a French performer who acts and sings, has taken roles in features including Where Horses Go to Die, The Shiny Shrimps, and Her Way. He also works as a model and fashion designer, and his various projects have frequently overlapped through apparel collections shaped by current dance and music worlds as well as a broadcast program developed specifically to introduce his debut album. A string of pop tracks issued in 2024, among them “Fais-Moi un Dessert” and “Brulez-Moi,” preceded the arrival of the complete album Paradigmes de La Femme.

During his teenage years Brau began modeling in runway presentations and commercial campaigns while simultaneously entering the acting field. After completing studies in the fashion program at Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts, he established concept boutiques in Paris and Antwerp, thereby initiating his work as a clothing creator. Throughout the 2010s his creative output expanded across several avenues; he produced further apparel collections, founded a cabaret, and performed in the 2019 film The Shiny Shrimps. Following the 2022 release of his initial single—a cover of Desireless’ pop hit “Voyage Voyage”—Brau made his first solo stage appearance in late 2023, presenting both original material and reinterpretations while exploring gender themes through cross-dressing as an element of performance art. He continued to issue singles across 2023 and 2024 in the period leading to his first full-length project, Paradigmes de La Femme.
