Roxy Blue

While enrolled at the Guitar Institute of Technology, guitarist Sid Fletcher crossed paths with bassist Josh Weil. Vocalist Todd Poole later brought both musicians into his fold and completed the lineup by enlisting drummer Scotty T. As Roxy Blue performed throughout Memphis, the group quickly gained a devoted local following. Geffen executive Tom Zutaut noticed them during one such performance and offered the band a recording contract. Their debut album appeared in 1992.
