Biography
Felton, born in the United States, remained largely unrecognized throughout his career. Serving as vocalist for Benny Carter’s ensemble in 1934, he delivered his performances in a smooth baritone. From the middle of the 1930s into the early 1940s he appeared on a limited number of discs, several of them alongside the Mills Brothers.
