Biography
Established during 1985, the Japanese experimental rock duo known as Ruins centered on drummer Tatsuya Yoshida alongside a succession of bass players including Kawamoto Hideki, Kimoto Kazuyoshi, Ryuichi Masuda, and ultimately Hisashi Sasaki until his exit in 2004. Yoshida persisted without hesitation in a solo capacity, appearing in performances under the name Ruins Alone while issuing the album Alone during 2011, a recording marked by its wildly diverse, dense, and hyper-energetic qualities.
