Biography
Hailing from Arkansas, Sally Shuffield drew on an eclectic set of experiences for her work as a folk singer/songwriter, among them a master’s degree in anthropology and involvement with environmental advocacy. From her base in Durango, Colorado, she cultivated listeners across the United States and issued her first album, Backroads of My Mind, via Fanfare Records in 1999. Larkspur put out her follow-up, Ties That Bind, to positive notices in 2001; Shuffield then delivered her third collection, Something in the Water, in February 2006.
