Biography
David Moltz, an artist residing in New York City, first envisioned Salt & Samovar purely as his own venture before expanding it into a group effort that took to live performances during 2006, aided by individuals previously associated with Moonraker, FEAST, and Mattison. One can experience the ensemble's singular fusion of searing psychedelic rock with Americana steeped in fire-and-brimstone themes on Old Joy New Joy, which marked their inaugural album in 2007.
