Biography
Salvatore Gebbia, a composer and pianist, entered the world in 1965 and pursued his studies at the D Cimarosa Conservatory of Music in his native Avellino, Italy, along with the Nino Rota International Academy of Music in Bari. He has taken the stage both alone and within several chamber ensembles, among them the Kammermusik Quintet and the M.J. Quartet he assembled himself. In 1992 Gebbia established the Wassily Kandinsky International Academy of Music and assumed the position of artistic director; his first album, Lifebound, appeared at the start of 2000.
