Biography
After extensive time performing across numerous groups, Sam Lowry launched a solo path as a singer/songwriter defined by an inventive command of instruments. He relocated to Bloomington, IN in 1999, where he started shaping his first album, Down Songs From the Exile Suite (2000). Higher Step issued the project, which highlighted his melancholy lyrics and brooding voice through inventive drum programming and guitar work. In 2002 he delivered a follow-up on the same label, Between the Lotus and the Han.
