Sanctum

Originating in Sweden, the ensemble first operated under the name November Commandment before shortening it to Nov*Com. Drawing from 1980s industrial-synth acts such as Front 242, the four-piece outfit issued its initial demo cassette, Complete Structure, through Krash Productions. Their follow-up recording, the Exile Station EP released in 1993 by Motorised Mind Productions, brought in a goth-industrial texture marked by prominent guitars. After signing with Cold Meat Industry in 1994, the group adopted the name Sanctum and captured material for its American debut.
