Biography
Sandra Feva, a vocalist from Detroit, built a solid reputation in her hometown yet achieved greater national recognition through her work providing backing vocals for Aretha Franklin, George Clinton, and Prince rather than through her own solo recordings. Various labels have featured her work, such as Venture, Krisma, Catawba, Grandstand, and Robbins. Among her solo singles, the ones that came nearest to success were "The Need to Be" from 1979 and "Tell 'Em That I Heard It" from 1981, with the second reaching position #33 on the R&B charts.
