Biography
Satrapa, a Uruguayan alternative metal trio, first performed onstage in May 1993 as part of a festival showcasing new bands from the area. Not long after, the group laid down tracks for a demo recording named S.S.D.D., and this was followed in 1998 by a second effort called Make Your Truth. With a move toward Spanish-language lyrics, Satrapa's inaugural album Dondetres came about through the production work of Jorge Mulet and Alejo Brusero and hit shelves in 2001.
