Biography
Savage After Midnight crafts anthemic, propulsive hard rock laced with heavier alt-metal textures and electronic flourishes, led by vocalist Shi Eubank. Multiple years of setbacks involving label shifts and a name change preceded the release of the band's debut EP, 11:59, in 2019.
The ensemble originated in Memphis, Tennessee in 2009 and spent roughly its first five years navigating repeated false starts while developing material and honing its stage presence. Initially known as Empire City, the group entered the studio in 2014 aiming for an official debut, only to confront further hurdles such as an unrelated lawsuit, discarded recordings, and a last-minute Sony agreement that prompted the rebranding to Savage After Midnight.
Early in 2018 the band issued rock interpretations of songs by ZAYN and Mike Posner while supporting Shinedown on tour. Later that year the lineup featuring Shi Eubank on lead vocals, Jeremiah Lipscomb on guitar, James Thomas on keys and vocals, Landon Fox on bass, and Zack Pate on drums delivered the lead single "Ten Feet Tall" from the completed debut EP. Titled 11:59, the project appeared in 2019 through Sony affiliates The Century Family, Inc. and Red Music.
