Biography
Scholomance emerged in the middle of the 1990s. Their initial notice came from well-circulated demo recordings that spread through the tape-trading underground during 1996 and 1997. The End Records eventually discovered the group and signed them in February of 1998. Later that year the band issued A Treatise on Love, a black-hearted parody of relationships performed in the black metal style.
