Biography
Originating in Broome in northern Australia, the band Scrap Metal draws its lineup from France, the Philippines, Scotland, Indonesia, Japan, and Australia. Wide attention followed their stint as openers for Midnight Oil, which secured a contract with Polygram; the label then issued Broken Down Man in 1988 and Scrap Metal in 1990.
