Biography
In late 1981, singer/songwriter and guitarist Mick Medew launched the Screaming Tribesmen in Brisbane, Australia. Around 1986 the lineup stabilized with Medew joined by guitarist Chris "Klondike" Masuak, bassist Bob Wackley, and drummer Warwick Fraser. Several Australian number one singles earned strong notice on U.S. college charts, prompting the gritty pop/rock quartet to sign with Rykodisc and issue its domestic debut, Bones + Flowers.
