Biography
Sean Croghan crafts unique melodies rooted in indie pop while delivering distinctive tuneful rock compositions highlighted by his enduring vocal strengths. As a singer and songwriter, he launched his musical journey during the 1980s by joining Moustache in Portland. He subsequently established the Hellcows before founding the punk rock group Crackerbash in 1989. Croghan stayed with Crackerbash through 1993, when he created the alternative rock band Jr. High and issued a single album with them. Following various solo endeavors, this Oregon musician put out his first solo album in 2001. Titled From Burnt Orange to Midnight Blue, the album arrived in stores that year and included contributions from Martyn Leaper and Rebecca Cole of the Minders along with Luther Russel, the former mentor from the Freewheelers. The release received widespread praise in the regional underground community and expanded his visibility further.
