Search Results, a Dublin trio, fuse jangly noise rock with lo-fi indie pop. The group entered the scene in 2021 through their home-recorded EP Mirrors. Their next release, the EP No Punchline Arousal, appeared the year after and preceded the arrival of their debut album, 2023’s Information Blip.
College friends Fionn Brennan (vocals/guitar), Adam Hoban (bass), and Jack Condon (vocals/drums) formed the band in 2019. A shared affection for garage rock and indie punk drew them together and led to songwriting during the 2020 pandemic lockdowns, guided by the Vaselines, the Feelies, Parquet Courts, and the Velvet Underground. They recorded, produced, and mixed Mirrors themselves before self-releasing it in 2021. Local Dublin gigs followed, and the second EP surfaced the next year. In 2023 the trio entered Dublin’s Orc’s Lair to work with Thee U.F.O.’s Darragh Hansard, completing Information Blip by year’s end. Throughout 2024 they toured across Europe and the U.K.
