Biography
Emerging from the continuously growing Elephant 6 recording collective, the indie pop duo Secret Square featured Apples in Stereo drummer Hilarie Sidney alongside Lisa Janssen, who had earlier played bass on the Neutral Milk Hotel album On Avery Island. The pair first surfaced in 1995 through a self-titled seven-inch released on E6, with a full-length follow-up sharing the same name arriving the subsequent year.
