Sej

Beginning his work behind the decks in 1995, Sej promoted and performed at countless club nights and rave events throughout the United Kingdom, many of them in his hometown of Manchester. Those activities also generated a series of mixtapes that drew praise from area house and trance selectors including Dillinjah, Optical, Photek, and Sappo, each of whom left a lasting mark on the way Sej approached production. Once DJ Sappo encountered one of his demos, Sej moved directly into releasing his debut single, “Terrorism”/“TKO,” a joint effort with Sappo that appeared on Prohibition Records in 1997.
